Installation and deployment of the Hy-Impact line of intelligent hydrogen systems for diesel engines throughout North America will be handled by an installation and post-installation services network provided by Velociti Inc. Alternative Hydrogen Solutions LLC (AHS), providers of the Hy-Impact line, announced the strategic partnership with Velociti, a technology deployment specialist, for systems installed on diesel engines across all vertical markets.

Designed and manufactured by Highline Technical Innovations Inc., the Hy-Impact line uses hydrogen as a catalyst to more effectively burn fuel. Hydrogen is separated from water via the process of electrolysis allowing a precise amount of hydrogen gas to be introduced into the engine’s combustion chamber. Hy-Impact’s patent pending CPU technology ensures the correct amount of hydrogen is released while no moisture enters the engine, the company said, resulting in a 9% to 23 % increase in fuel economy and dramatically lowered emissions.

Velociti will be working with AHS to install the units for private and for-hire fleets, commercial marine fleets, oil services machinery, agricultural machinery, locomotives and municipal vehicles. “We understand that when a vehicle isn’t moving it is likely someone is not making money,” said Bill Cunetta, president of AHS. “Making sure our Hy-Impact products are professionally installed in a swift and organized fashion is very important, especially to our large fleet operators. Velociti is the obvious choice to meet our expectations.”
