Bosch introduces heavy-duty battery line

Robert Bosch LLC has introduced a new heavy-duty battery program, with twelve new SKUs. Included in the line are T6 high-performance AGM batteries; T5 dual-purpose performance batteries for extreme conditions and long-life T4 quality performance batteries.

According to the company, the new heavy-duty battery SKUs offer universal coverage for all heavy-duty vehicles. Five SKUs cover long-haul trucks with sleeper cabs, distribution trucks with tail lifts, fire-fighting vehicles, construction machinery, off-road trucks, coaches and buses, and municipal vehicles with a high rate of city traffic. Seven SKUs cover construction machines and off-road vehicles, and applications requiring a high level of power for starting.

Bosch heavy-duty batteries are 100% maintenance free, and offer dependable power in extreme conditions, the company said.

“Bosch is committed to providing technicians with dependable, quality parts, whether it’s innovating a brand new product line, celebrating significant production milestones, or continuing to extend coverage for existing lines,” said Thomas Winter, vice president of automotive aftermarket NA for Bosch. “Bosch provides parts for shops and garages to be efficient in servicing their customers’ vehicles.”
