The APU is also available with shore power using any 110-volt outlet. According to the maker, other features include a one-touch control panel, and Auto Start, Low Voltage Start-up and Programmable Time and Date functions to allow pre-warming/cooling of the truck’s cab and engine.

Hodyon added the Dynasys APU is designed for easy servicing with service intervals that match the truck’s maintenance schedule, a removable cover that provides easy access to all maintenance items, a 1,000-hour oil change interval, convenient access to breakers and a self-tensioning serpentine drive system.

Hodyon offers a risk-free fleet trial program, in-house financing and assistance with grants aimed at facilitating the purchase of auxiliary power units. Through Sept. 30, 2012, the company is offering rebates to qualifying fleets and owner operators, and incentives to existing customers.
