Hankook Tire has announced the release of two new tire models designed for regional-haul usage: the AH37 and DH37 tires, which the company says incorporate structural designs to facilitate lower rolling resistance and greater fuel efficiency. Both the AH37 and DH37 feature 3D Kerf Technology, offering better traction, increased mileage and improved tread wear; and both tires are SmartWay and CARB certified.
- The AH37 is a steer/all-position axle tire for regional haul fitments on truck and bus applications. Offering multipurpose performance, the AH37 tire is structurally designed for longer tread life, fuel efficiency and durability in intense driving conditions, according to Hankook. The company touts an optimized footprint that offers improved traction and mileage performance for a smoother ride and better handling, and its enhanced kerf design that displaces water for outstanding road grip in adverse weather conditions.
- The DH37 is ideal for commercial fitments on both school buses and regional haul trucks, according to Hankook. Designed for extreme mileage and excellent traction in all road conditions, the DH37 features a large footprint and aggressive tread design, which provides outstanding performance in all weather conditions, the company said.
