Isuzu Commercial Truck of America, Inc. recently collaborated with Supreme Industries, a manufacturer of specialized commercial truck bodies, to deliver customized truck solutions to Ewing Irrigation & Landscape Supply, a family-owned supplier of landscape and water management products. Isuzu, along with Supreme and its dealer Golden Gate Truck Center in Oakland, Calif., identified Ewing’s industry-specific and business-specific needs to develop a customized vehicle for Ewing.

The Ewing trucks feature the Class 6 Isuzu FTR chassis, released earlier this year. The FTR offers a gross vehicle weight rating of 25,950 lbs., low-cab-forward design and a four-cylinder diesel engine with a B10 durability rating of 375,000 miles.

“We value our 30-year relationship with Isuzu trucks and the exceptional service we receive from Isuzu’s sales, product support and customer relations teams,” said Douglas W. York, Ewing’s president and chief executive officer. “Through our ongoing relationship, Ewing is better able to serve our customers across the country. Isuzu’s quality trucks, custom-built and designed for our needs, make the difference in our day-to-day business.”
