Suspension manufacturers Link Manufacturing Ltd. have announced the promotion of Bob Carlsen to the position of Business Development Manager. In this new role, Carlsen will pursue targeted integrated suspension opportunities with OEM customers in the off-highway and niche truck marketplace. Carlsen will begin his new job immediately.
“Bob’s leadership has been instrumental in building key relationships with several OEM accounts, and we see tremendous potential in the off-highway markets with our core cab and heavy-duty suspension offerings,” said Michael Hof, the company’s director of sales and marketing. “Bob’s knowledge of Link’s product portfolio and corporate capabilities provide a solid foundation for us to expand and build on our reputation: delivering great products on time, all the time, without defects.”
Carlsen (pictured left) joined Link Manufacturing as OEM Sales Manager in 2009 after a long tenure with Lund International. He has managed the efforts of Link’s North American OEM Sales Team and will continue to have oversight of the Navistar and Hino accounts.
