Michigan-based Lorin announced the production of coil-anodized aluminum for transportation applications. The coil anodizing process was pioneered by Lorin, and the company says it protects the aluminum while also improving the aesthetic properties and durability. According to Lorin, the benfits of coil anodized aluminum come from its strength and durability at a lower weight and cost than competing materials.
