NACE | CARS 2016 expo and conference is coming to Anaheim, Calif. from Aug. 9-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and this year the show will feature heavy-duty programming for the first time.
Presenters on heavy-duty topics at the expo include:
- Dean Hancock, facilitator of collision advice, who will lead a seminar on heavy-duty damage analysis;
- John Spoto, national heavy-duty truck / commercial fleet manager with 3M, whose seminar will focus on consistency and standard operating procedures in commercial fleet repair;
- Mark Hawkins, technical specialist, Redline Detection, who will teach students the knowledge of how to use high pressure diagnostic tools for boosted, turbo, diesel, and heavy duty applications. The goal of this course is to equip students with the skills to improve their business;
- Dave Scribner, technical director for the Americas—automotive and commercial business units at Car-O-Liner, who will explore emerging trends of HD truck collision repair slowly being introduced into North America as a result of the influence from European OEM repair standards.
Other heavy-duty items of note at the show include the following:
- The Young Technicians Symposium;
- Specialty programs, featuring the MSO Symposium, Technology & Telematics Forum, and Service Repair Leadership Forum;
- Free OEM training; and
- The opportunity to test-drive the 2017 Ford Super Duty trucks.
