The new Conti TerraPlus HD3 drive tire from Continental Tire the Americas made its debut at NTEA’s The Work Truck Show today, featuring an all-new, aggressive tread pattern designed for Class 4 and 5 working trucks.
The Conti TerraPlus HD3 (Heavy Drive 3rd Generation) will be on display in the Continental Commercial Vehicle Tire booth at The Work Truck show in size 225/70R19.5. According to Continental engineers, this high traction, deep lug tread pattern and chip and chunk resistant tread compound is a new benchmark for working heavy duty pickups, landscaping trucks, utility trucks and other vocational trucks that frequently work in off-road conditions.
The TerraPlus HD3 will have 19/32nds tread depth and a specialized pattern with open shoulder design to increase traction. An off-road belt package makes the tire more suited to the severe service, off road environments and more resistant to damage such as stone penetration.
