Nexiq Technologies has introduced Pocket HD, a new handheld scan tool for light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks. The tool comes preloaded with two Nexiq software applications, LMT 2016 (for light- and medium-duty trucks) and the Heavy Duty Standard & OBD II Suite (which supports both J1708 and J1939 communication).

Additional Pocket HD software applications are also available for purchase separately. These include the ABS Software Suite, providing support for Bendix ABS systems, as well as support for tractor and trailer brake systems from Meritor WABCO, Wabash National, Eaton, and Haldex. The Nexiq “All Makes” DPF Regen application (HD/LMT DPF Regen) is also available, giving technicians the ability to run the diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration procedure for a wide range of manufacturers.
