ProMax launching Severe Duty Metallic brake pads

ProMax introduced its Severe Duty Metallic brake pads, engineered to OE quality, durability and reliability, while encompassing the highest safety standards, the company said. ProMax’s Severe Duty Metallic brake pads meet and exceed the severe braking requirements for pickup trucks, commercial delivery vans, school buses and other vehicles requiring extreme braking and assured performance needs, the company said. “These superior brake pads provide the optimal braking experience, delivering better control and shorter stopping distances, maximum noise reduction, and outstanding pad braking,” it said.

ProMax’s Severe Duty Metallic brake pads are engineered to provide a smoother brake pedal feel, while providing ultra-quiet braking with long-lasting pad life, the company said. The brakes are 100% asbestos-free. Additionally, they feature:

  • Attached Wolverine shims;
  • Wire mesh backing plates;
  • Included brake pad hardware for all applications;
  • Meet or exceed 2025 copper compliancy.
