Roadnet Transportation adds new features to fleet management software

Roadnet Technologies updated its Roadnet Transportation Suite with version 3.6.8, the latest release of its on-premise vehicle routing, scheduling, tracking, mobile workforce and fleet management software. According to the company, this update delivers greater consistency in the user experience, and delivers planning, mobile application, dispatching, routing and other general enhancements for improved efficiency and ease of use.

“RTS v.3.6.8 demonstrates our continued commitment to software innovation, addressing the key needs of transportation and logistics companies,” said Kevin Haugh, vice president and general manager at Roadnet Technologies. “The latest improvements to our technology suite significantly enhance our users’ day-to-day operations, streamlining functions and processes, and adding greater consistency to the product suite.”

The latest version of Roadnet Transportation Suite delivers a number of enhancements, according to Roadnet, including the following:

  • MobileCast mobile application enhancements for Android and iOS allows drivers to access an overview of the planned route on a map, view the map anytime throughout the route, and more.
  • MobileView now allows for role-based views for different employee types and offers exception enhancements, map updates and historical route information to better enable role-specific productivity.
  • Scheduler now comes with an out-of-the-box configurable scheduling interface, which easily plugs into, and integrates into, customer websites. With this new capability, enabling delivery self-scheduling by customer service representatives, salespeople and customers becomes even faster and easier.
  • Info Center’s Live Stop Locator has been updated to include both planned and projected arrive and departure information, eliminating the need to use multiple tools to track deliver progress.

The improvements of the RTS v.3.6.8 deliver an improved user experience within the technology suite, while also simplifying processes, and improving the bottom line for fleets using the software, said Roadnet.
