Thermo King unveils TracKing integration with McLeod Software

Thermo King announced the integration of its TracKing temperature and asset management solution with LoadMaster Symphony software at the McLeod Software Users’ Conference. LoadMaster Symphony is produced by McLeod Software, a provider of transportation, brokerage and document management systems.

TracKing’s integration with McLeod Software enables refrigerated carriers to have visibility of refrigerated assets within LoadMaster Symphony, giving users the ability to monitor critical cargo temperatures, trailer location, refrigeration unit settings and alarms throughout the entire dispatch process. The integrated information of loaded refrigerated trailers in-route allows dispatchers and planners to quickly remedy issues that may cause damage or delay load delivery decisions, according to the company.

The company also noted that integrating TracKing with LoadMaster Symphony has significant benefits for customers, including:

  • Increased temperature sensitive cargo protection and better dispatcher response times with LoadMaster generated temperature, low fuel and reefer unit alerts;
  • Improved refrigerated asset security and utilization with visibility of trailer locations, reefer unit power status and door openings; and
  • Increased fleet efficiency and lower operating costs with centralized access.
