TSE Brakes Inc. is introducing new patented Variable Clocking Technology (VCT) air brake actuators. The new air brake actuators feature easier installation, better chamber sealing and fewer necessary model numbers, the company said.

“Our customers told us that at times air brake actuators are less efficient because they are not always properly sealed by the installer. The beauty of the innovative VCT design is that we factory seal the diaphragm, so the installer is no longer required to get the best possible seal,” said Jean Gregoire, TSE Brakes’ director of North American aftermarket sales and marketing.

VCT models are available on UltraLife and OmniBrake air brake actuator model, and come in either a complete unit (pictured above left) or a piggyback repair kit (above right).
