Recently at Expo Transporte in Guadalajara, Volvo Trucks North America announced the availability of its new VNR and VNL models in the Mexican market. Both models were unveiled in the U.S. and Canada earlier this year. The new VNL series is available in several configurations, including a new 70-in. sleeper, and it comesĀ standard with the 13-liter Volvo D13 engine, while Day Cab and VNL 400 models can spec the 11-liter Volvo D11 as an option. The 15-liter Cummins X15 is also available in the VNL series.
The new Volvo VNR regional-haul model boasts, among other features,Ā a 113-in. bumper-to-back-of-cab (BBC) length; the company’s Active Driver Assist safety system; the I-Shift automated manual transmission; and a standard offering of the Volvo D11 engine, with the D13 available as an additional option.
