Accelera showcases new technology at ACT Expo

"We now have over 1.5 billion miles in the field on our e-mobility products," Amy Davis, president of Accelera, said.

Accelera by Cummins had several technologies on display at ACT Expo this year, including its FCE300 fuel cell engine designed for commercial vehicles with extended duty cycles; its 14Xe Gen 4.5 axle; and an International RH Class 8 Truck featuring two 150 kW FCEs and 14Xe e-axles.

Also on display was a BP87EA NMC battery pack with an energy density of 97kWh; and its BP107E LFP battery, designed for longer battery life and faster charging capabilities.

Also on display was its 650V fuel cell e-compressor; its NetGen 1CS2022 Traction System, and its X15 Hydrogen engine, featuring up to 500 HP and 1,850 ft.-lbs. of torque.

“We now have over 1.5 billion miles in the field on our e-mobility products,” Amy Davis, president of Accelera, said at the company’s ACT Expo press conference. “The energy transition will not happen overnight. It’s going to require a tremendous amount of partnership and commitment. But we are gaining the learning and we’re iterating the solutions today to empower our customers for the future.
