ArvinMeritor Inc. Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket (CVA) business said its new Meritor All-Makes Air Systems Program provides a complete portfolio of all-makes air valves, air compressors, air dryers and cartridges, and air hose assemblies.
"This program has been launched to provide our customers greater flexibility in their air systems inventory in addition to overall ordering simplicity," said Joe Mejaly, vice president and general manager of CVA. "Purchases from various suppliers can be consolidated, while remanufactured products can be converted to outright products without core charges and administrative efforts."
The program will include 1,000 part numbers to accommodate various vehicle requirements. This is in addition to the existing portfolio of Meritor WABCO products such as tractor, truck, bus, and anti-lock braking systems (ABS). Remanufactured products will also be available for those customers who prefer a core-based program.
In addition to providing customers with increased alternatives for their air systems portfolios, the program is backed by ArvinMeritor’s
support.
"This support factor is a key element in our new program," said Mejaly. "Customers can obtain their air system products from numerous sources, what they can’t get from those sources is the support we provide to help them grow their business."
