ATA’s Transportation Security Council recognizes fleets

Trucking companies were recognized for security and loss prevention efforts.

The American Trucking Association’s (ATA) Transportation Security Council (TSC) recognized several fleets for their commitment to trucking industry security and loss prevention efforts at the group’s annual meeting, ATA’s 2023 Safety, Security & Human Resources National Conference & Exhibition in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Recognized fleets included:

ATA Excellence in Security
- Old Dominion Freight Line, Thomasville, NC
ATA Excellence in Claims & Loss Prevention
- Less-than-Truckload Carrier: ABF Freight Systems, Fort Smith, Arkansas;
- Truckload Carrier: M&W Transportation, Nashville, Tennessee.

One Nexus Group acquires Commercial Truck Training

One Nexus says it can now offer three services rather than two: fleet management training, sales training, and recruitment/hiring support.

One Nexus Group has announced the acquisition of American commercial and fleet dealership training provider Commercial Truck Training.

Founded by Ken Taylor, Commercial Truck Training has been in the business of dealer sales training since 1989. Alongside Taylor, Will Brogan, vice president of operations at Commercial Truck Training, has also joined the One Nexus team.
