FMCSA publishes hours of service proposal to improve safety, increase flexibility for drivers

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) published a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) on changes to hours of service (HOS) rules to increase safety on America’s roadways by updating existing regulations for commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers.

July preliminary trailer orders jump 65% over June volume, ACT reports
