Buyers Products releases new SaltDogg municipal dump spreader

Buyers Products has introduced the new SaltDogg Municipal Dump Spreader (MDS), which the company says provides the practicality of a dump body combined with the convenience of a spreader. The new MDS (pictured above) is offered in 10-, 12- and 14-ft. lengths with 36-in. sides and a 4-in. tailgate. The body is constructed from heavy-gauge, 304 stainless steel for corrosion resistance and durability. Its unique, roll-formed sides and cross-memberless design provide for excellent material flow and exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, the company said.

Four-season use of the new MDS is possible with a removable, 7-gauge stainless steel conveyor cover plate and an adjustable flow gate which can be interchanged with a coal chute. The proprietary spinner assembly is also easily removed allowing year-round use of the spreader body.

“The new Municipal Dump Spreader is designed for superior durability and performance,” said Dave Zelis, director of sales and marketing at Buyers Products. “Along with four-season operation, it also offers several industry-first features and customization for every application.”
