Coats has released the 6450 Series of heavy-duty wheel balancers in 2D and 3D models.
The 6450 Series comes with a 1.5 HP direct drive motor, which Coats says can shave 20 seconds off of a typical 22.5-in. spin. These balancers are also equipped with a static on-screen display, showing static and dynamic data and identifying any excess residual static imbalances at the same time.
Both the 2D and 3D models also use laser weight placement for three-parameter auto data entry in tape modes; are 500-lbs. Met Lab/UL approved; include LED readouts; and are designed for front line, high-volume balancing, Coats says.
The 3D model also includes auto data entry for all three parameters with one touch; auto indexing to automatically move the wheel to the required weight positions; and a stop and lock feature that locks the spindle firmly in place for more accurate weight placement, the company adds.
