Daimler Trucks North America Honors 44 Masters of Quality

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) has recognized 44 North American manufacturers from the United States, Canada, and Mexico as recipients of its 2012 Masters of Quality Supplier Award.

Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) has recognized 44 North American manufacturers from the United States, Canada, and Mexico as recipients of its 2012 Masters of Quality Supplier Award. The selected suppliers provide components for Freightliner and Western Star truck brands.

The annual program, now in its 26th year, recognizes suppliers that meet or exceed Daimler Truck North America’s quality standards by receiving high scores on their delivery, technology and cost performance as measured on a Balanced Scorecard. These suppliers also demonstrate an on-going commitment to improving the quality of their products and overall performance of their businesses.

Topping the list for 2012 was Consolidated MetCo Inc. and its wheel and hub Plant in Monroe, N.C. The Conmet facility has received the award for 23 out of 26 years. Eleven manufacturers received the award for the first time.
