Decisiv’s new service management program in beta

Decisiv, Inc. has released its new ServicePlan application in beta with select service providers.

The company says ServicePlan is a managed care solution that enables comprehensive service management programs from the more than 4,500 dealers for the 30,000-plus fleets on the Decisiv SRM platform.

According to Decisiv, the new method for improving the asset maintenance process provides dealers with the ability to expand their scope of fleet asset maintenance services and strengthen their relationships with fleets by helping them meet the challenge of ensuring assets are optimally maintained.

With ServicePlan, service providers can take on the responsibility for managing preventive maintenance, including recalls and campaigns, to meet fleet scheduling and maintenance requirements for their assets’ entire service lifecycle, Decisiv says. Using the new solution to manage assets for their customers, they can aggregate fault data from remote diagnostics systems to facilitate repairs.

Service providers can also take advantage of reporting options, automatically update asset inspection and service information and provide fleets with visibility into service events and timely reports to track compliance and services provided, Decisiv says.

ServicePlan is integrated into the existing workflows in the Decisiv SRM platform, Decisiv says, adding setting up ServicePlan using its self-service administration features takes less than a day and requires no user training.

Direct labor vs. indirect labor: what do these terms mean? And how much of each is happening in your shop? When this subject comes up, general comments always end up saying that the techs must be hanging around doing nothing. Most who read the data only read the direct data and not the indirect data breakdown. And most shops do not pay attention to the indirect data, so therefore it is a good, appropriate question.
