Donaldson introduces PowerCore air cleaners

The PowerCore air cleaner product line from Donaldson Co. has been expanded with the addition of the PCD family and the PSD14.The new PCD air cleaner provides single-stage filtration in a compact unit for on-highway trucks operating in light dust conditions, according to the company.

The PowerCore air cleaner product line from Donaldson Co. has been expanded with the addition of the PCD family and the PSD14.The new PCD air cleaner provides single-stage filtration in a compact unit for on-highway trucks operating in light dust conditions. The PCD family, which includes the PCD09 and PCD10 models, provides engine airflow ranges up to 974 CFM and allows for narrow or wide mounting with side access for service and maintenance. PowerCore PCD models can also be used in conjunction with many Donaldson pre-cleaner offerings such as Strata Cap, TopSpin or TopSpin HD to incorporate a two-stage filtration intake system for medium dust environments.

The PSD14 expands the Donaldson PSD family of air cleaners into a larger size and airflow range, now up to 1450 CFM for heavy-duty equipment that operates in medium-to-heavy dust environments. The PowerCore PSD family, which also includes the PSD08, PSD09, PSD10, PSD12, offers two-stage filtration (with a built-in pre-cleaner) in a single unit.
