DuraClass, a designer and manufacturer of Class 3-8 dump bodies, hoists and related equipment, introduced the DuraClass SL316 Dump Body. The SL316 Dump Body features DuraClass’ patented sidewall, smooth radius corners and high tensile steel for a stronger body, according to the maker. It also features a crossmemberless understructure with deep flared longmembers that are fully boxed, eliminating the need for subframe crossmembers, noted DuraClass. The SL316’s design utilizes a horizontal side brace and tailgate brace that reflect the clean radiused lines of the top rail for a contemporary look.
DuraClass noted that all medium-duty DuraClass dump bodies utilize high-tensile, minimum 45,000 PSI steel, for strength and lighter body weight. Additional ultra high-tensile, abrasion resistant and stainless steel options are available.
