Fleet registration grows for EUFMC 2023

Electric utility fleet managers unite at this year's EUFMC, June 4-7.

Fleet professionals from electric utilities, electrical contractors, utility co-ops, tree care operations, municipalities, and telecoms continue to register in record numbers for the 2023 Electric Utility Fleet Managers Conference (EUFMC), an annual event with a unique atmosphere and an educational format that allows utility fleet professionals to view the latest fleet products and technology, attend sessions on the most pertinent topics of fleet management, while also providing roundtable discussions on those topics and encouraging the attendees to network with their industry peers and the manufacturer/vendor community. Already planning to attend the conference are 125 fleet executives, nearly 30 more than had registered for the 2022 EUFMC by the same time last year.

Here are a few of the show highlights.

Following dinner on Wednesday, June 7, EUFMC attendees will be treated to live music by Shane Smith & The Saints courtesy of Freightliner, EUFMC Leadership Sponsor. The Austin, Texas-based group last appeared at EUFMC in 2019. Led by its namesake, the band has a well-deserved reputation as a high-energy live act with stunning four-part harmonies.

Additionally, plans for the 70th anniversary EUFMC include:

  • Driving Safety, Sustainability and Technical Expertise, the EUFMC educational program with a focus on finding solutions to fleet management challenges, featuring presentations by fleet executives, manufacturers and industry experts.
  • Roundtables where fleet representatives and suppliers exchange information and discuss mutual challenges, find solutions and develop best practices.
  • A Drive-Through utility equipment demonstration and an equipment show that is the site of more than 60 display.
  • Special Activities, including tours, golf outings, events for spouses, and more. (Fees for golf are covered for fleet professionals attending the conference.)

EUFMC will take place June 4 – 7 at Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center, Williamsburg, Va.
