eNow, IdleAir announce partnership

eNow, provider of renewable energy solutions for commercial trucks, has announced a strategic partnership with IdleAir, provider of Truck Stop Electrification (TSE) services at major travel centers and fleet terminals. Under the terms of the agreement, eNow’s solar solutions for transportation will enhance IdleAir’s grid-powered solutions and provide even more low-carbon based power for trucks, which eliminates idling, saves on fuel, and helps the environment, the company said.

“We are honored to be working with IdleAir,” said Jeff Flath, chief executive officer and founder of eNow. “IdleAir addresses both energy and environmental issues in groundbreaking ways. In an era when anti-idling laws are on the increase, they are helping the environment and making life easier for truckers, a win-win that is also a key part of our approach. We see this strategic partnership as proof positive of the viability of our Energy-as-a-Service renewable energy solutions for a variety of markets.”

“This was all about synergies,” said Ethan Garber, chief executive officer of IdleAir. “eNow’s solar panels generate far more energy than any other comparable solar solution for transportation, which meshes perfectly with our alternative to idling. The trucking industry will benefit all around from our partnership and ongoing and future projects.”
