Freightliner New Cascadia ride along and interview

Where do you even start talking about a truck re-imagined from the ground up? How about where the rubber meets the road? Daimler Trucks CEO Martin Daum went on the record to say that the 2018 New Cascadia with a GHG17 DD15 integrated Detroit powertrain improved fuel economy by 8%—that’s right, 8%—compared to the Classic Cascadia Evolution with a GHG14 DD15 integrated Detroit powertrain.

He also invited the press and 12 of the industry’s biggest fleets to look under the hood, crawl through the cab and take the New Cascadia for a drive.

So come along as Fleet Equipment puts you shotgun in the new truck and dives into the specs.
