Heavy-duty engine filter findings: Inside Wix Filters NanoPro Media

There are fewer places in the trucking industry as productive as the Wix Filters manufacturing facility in Gastonia, N.C. I visited with the fine filter folks at Wix for a sneak peek at the new filters coming down the line.

While walking the air filter manufacturing line, I spotted a unique green-colored media among Wix’s wide offering. It was Wix’s exclusive new NanoPro media. I talked with Donald Chilton, vice president of product management for Wix, about the benefits of the new media and probe Wix’s product rollout plans.
