The Modulator RCV250 Fully Variable Fan Drive from Horton is an integrated belt-driven fan drive engineered to turn larger fans that require higher torque. Available this summer, the RCV250 is compatible with Horton’s WindMaster Revolution fans. The new fan drive is controlled and managed by the engine’s electronic control unit and can be combined with Horton’s Di Controller.
Horton’s Modulator RCV250 Fully Variable Fan Drive features an integral fan speed sensor for close-loop control, and a magnetic design that speeds reaction time. The stationary magnet coils in the fan drive’s design eliminate the need for a bearing, which reduces manufacturing and materials costs, while its front-located cover bearing reduces temperature.
