Kenworth adds set-forward front axle configuration to T880 lineup

Kenworth Truck Co. has announced the addition of a set-forward front axle configuration to its lineup of T880 trucks.Ā The new configuration, named the T880S, is designed for fleet and truck operators in ready-mix, dump and mobile crane applications where every incremental pound of payload delivered contributes directly to the bottom line, the company said.

ā€œThe new T880S advances Kenworthā€™s heritage of providing fleets and truck operators with industry-leading, rugged and reliable vocational trucks that deliver excellent performance,ā€ said Jason Skoog, Kenworth’s assistant general manager for sales and marketing. ā€œAvailable with a 114-in. BBC and 28-in. bumper setting, tare weight is minimized, weight distribution is optimized, Federal Bridge Formula can easily be met, and body installations are enhanced.ā€
