FedEx Express will require all Shipper’s Declarations for Dangerous Goods to be prepared using a FedEx-recognized vendor software, preapproved shipper-proprietary software, or FedEx Express automated shipping solutions that have dangerous goods edit checks, beginning Jan. 10, 2011.
Masterform Express, FedEx-recognized form-filling software, simplifies the process of filling out and printing the Shipper’s Declaration for Dangerous Goods. The software validates shipping papers using DOT & ICAO regulations, saves templates and contacts, and retains all shipping papers. Labelmaster is the only FedEx-recognized software vendor that offers customers a full line of dangerous goods products in addition to its Masterform Express form-filling software.
Labelmaster said it has been a driving force in the development of products that help industries comply with regulations governing the safe handling and transport of hazardous goods. The company’s HAZMAT products include labels, forms, placards, placarding systems, packaging, spill control, books and software.
The company said its product offerings also have expanded into non-hazmat products such as transportation products, signs, shipping supplies, material handling, facility management and workplace safety.
“Although we have greatly expanded our product offerings during our 40 years in business, we have always focused on being the regulation and compliance experts. We’ve built our company’s reputation on the fact that our customers can trust us for the latest and most complete information on regulatory issues,” remarks Dwight Curtis, president. “Our company continues to change and grow as the needs of our market and customers evolve.”
