Labelmaster has expanded its Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) HCS/GHS offering to include a MSDS to SDS conversion service.
Petro-chemical, pharmaceutical, paints and coatings companies and others involved in chemical manufacturing, in addition to importers, distributors and employers, must comply with all OSHA GHSmodified provisions by June 1, 2015, as specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200.
Converting to the new GHS-based SDS format is a complex task, says Labelmaster, and it requires new pictograms, terminology and 16 sections calling for specific chemical information. Labelmaster’s new offering eliminates many of the headaches from the change process of transferring information from MSDS requirements into the new SDS format for chemical producers, explains the company.
