The guide includes a cross-reference table, hazardous materials table, detailed index and how-to section, among other features.

Labelmaster a U.S.-based manufacturer of hazardous materials and regulatory compliance products, said it is offering an early 49 CFR in the same format as the government release, but with additional features that make it easier to find needed information. Regulatory updates include revisions to lithium battery requirements and to the HAZMAT table. The book contains requirements for markings, labels, placards, shipping papers, training, emergency response and performance-oriented packaging standards. Domestic transportation regulations for highway, rail, air and water are also included.

Labelmaster’s early 49 CFR includes the following features:
– 4-digit number cross-reference table
– Easy-to-read hazardous materials table
– Detailed index
– Tabbed sections for easy reference
– How-to section
– Color display of HAZMAT labels and placards
– Adhesive tabs to identify sections

The early 49 CFR is available in standard binding at $41 per copy or spiral binding at $52.50 per copy. A combination set that includes the standard bound book and a USB drive version of this publication is available for $81.
