Mack, Volvo Trucks launch new e-commerce platform, PartsASIST

Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks have opened registration for PartsASIST to transition from the existing Volvo Select and Mack Select part stores, with the goal of activating its full dealer network in the U.S. and Canada as part of a phased rollout throughout 2021.

The companies say PartsASIST offers an expanded range of features, functionality and benefits to customers and dealers, and that the parts ordering platform delivers performance up to 10 times faster.

The companies say the MyFleet module links fleet unit numbers to individual VINs, making tracking and documentation more efficient. The integrated “Genuine Parts” and “All Makes” catalogs simplify the search for model-specific components, and the “Quick Order” function speeds up the process, The companies say. Data is cross-referenced to determine real-time inventory availability.
