Meritor WABCO receives fifth consecutive Wabash supplier honor

Meritor WABCO has been awarded a 2012 Platinum Supplier Award from Wabash National Corp., marking the fifth consecutive year the company has earned the honor.

Meritor WABCO said it has earned the 2012 Platinum Supplier Award from Wabash National Corp. during its annual supplier conference, making the company – a Wabash National supplier for more than 20 years – the only supplier to earn this top honor for five consecutive years.

Wabash National recognizes key suppliers that exceed expectations in meeting increased demand and maximizing productivity. Based on Wabash’s supplier ratings, the Platinum Supplier Award is presented for excellence in supply chain performance, delivery, quality, cost and innovation, according to the company.

“It’s one thing to offer great products that meet our customers’ needs, but we believe that it’s also our service team – the largest and most knowledgeable in the industry – that enables us to stay ahead of customer expectations,” said Mark Melletat, director of trailer systems for Meritor WABCO. “Receiving recognition like this – year after year – reinforces that Meritor WABCO is staying aligned with our customer’s vision.”

Meritor WABCO provides trailer anti-lock braking systems (ABS), roll stability systems (RSS) and InfoLink data gateway systems that support tag axle control systems and tire inflation systems.
