Noregon updates JPRO Professional

Noregon has updated JPRO Professional, its in-shop diagnostic and repair software. The update provides expanded coverage for newer vehicles and increased bi-directional controls.

“We use a combination of market research and customer feedback to pinpoint which features to add to our products,” said Dave Covington, Noregon’s chief technology officer. “For this particular release, we discovered a necessity to simplify DEF system diagnosis and testing in the shop, so we focused on adding those tests. We also improved our service and repair module, NextStep™, through a redesign that provides tighter integration with JPRO and allows users to access relevant tests in JPRO directly from NextStep. To improve accuracy of repairs, NextStep now provides information based on the detected components, rather than relying on VIN-based information.”

The company notes that updates are free for all users with active subscriptions. Existing JPRO Professional customers will receive an alert within the software for the update, once available, if connected to the internet.
