STEMCO introduces an AirBAT tire pressure-monitoring sensor specifically designed for singlewide tire applications. The AirBAT tire pressure monitoring sensors are mounted on the wheel end and continually monitor tire pressure with visual alerts to detect under-inflated tires, according to the company. Under-inflated tires lead to increased fuel costs; with the current price of diesel fuel it is more important than ever that tires be properly inflated in order to save up to three percent on fuel costs, STEMCO advised.

STEMCO recently announced the next phase of RFID sensor-based BAT RF products that use automatic communication modes to collect and manage fleet information.
