Penske Truck Leasing announces Canada ELD certification for app

The company says the app allows drivers to stay compliant with regulations in both the U.S. and Canada.

Penske Truck Leasing announced that its Penske Driver mobile application has been certified as an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) in Canada. The app meets the requirements of the Canadian ELD Mandate, asking commercial carriers and drivers to electronically log their hours of service (HOS). According to the company, the app provides a solution for logging HOS, while also streamlining the process, provides real-time visibility into driver performance and brings ease to cross-border travel while staying compliant with regulations in both the U.S. and Canada.
