One of the biggest questions fleet have after figuring if electric trucks fit their applications is, “How do I get started?” For its part, Peterbilt launched an EV operating cost calculator in March for those interested in adding adding Peterbilt EV models to their fleets.
The EV operating cost calculator outlines total electric costs and operating cost per vehicle once the user has loaded the necessary variables such as mileage per year, electricity cost, vehicle price, charging stations, rebates and other expenses such as annual maintenance and insurance, the OEM noted.
Recently, the EV Operating Cost Calculator has been awarded the Award of Distinction from the international Communicator Awards, an international awards program dedicated to recognizing excellence, effectiveness and innovation across all areas of communication.
