Peterbilt Motors Co. General Manager Jason Skoog was featured as a keynote speaker at ACT Expo in the Long Beach Convention Center on August 31st, in Long Beach, California. Topics of Skoog’s keynote included Peterbilt’s early success in battery electric vehicles, customer tips for purchasing EVs, and what the industry needs to successfully navigate through future EV sales requirements.
On display within the booth are a Model 579EV, a PACCAR Parts EV Charger and the first natural gas powered Model 536. Peterbilt currently offers the Model 579EV, Model 520EV and Model 220EV available for order. These vehicles are deisgned for local pickup and delivery, drayage, short regional haul and refuse applications.
