An all-new ProBilt interior has been introduced by Peterbilt Motors Co. for its low-cab forward Model 320. The interior of the Model 320 underwent a floor-to-ceiling redesign, beginning with the new ergonomic dash layout. The new instrumentation panel includes LED backlit gauges along with a new Driver Information Display and rocker switches that are within easy reach. Removable dash panels allow easy access to electrical and HVAC components.
The Model 320 also has an improved HVAC system including overhead controls, the company added. The cab’s B-pillar has been redesigned to include corner windows and a lowered dash brow and a retractable sunshade spreads the length of the front windshield. Inside the vehicle there is a multi-purpose center console and removable panels that allow for easy installation and access to body controls. Storage space includes header and over-door and multiple large compartments, a space designed specifically for a small lunch cooler, and driver and passenger side cup holders
The Model 320 now has a USB charging port and a 12VDC charging outlet along with
LED lighting, including two directional dome lights in the header, as well as two over-the-door lights and one large light on the back wall. Additional features include a padded headliner for thermal and acoustic performance, a four-speaker audio system, vertical-parked windshield wipers, padded door panels, a tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a multi-function turn-stalk and heated seats.
