Rob Myers, president of Phillips Industries Aftermarket, will sit on the board of HDMA’s Heavy Duty Marketing and Sales Forum for 2021, and Rob Phillips, president and CEO of Phillips Industries, has re-joined the Heavy Duty Business Forum for this industry organization.
Phillips previously served as chairman of the Heavy Duty Business Forum in 2017. “The HDBF gives me a clear insight into challenges facing other companies in our industry that in many ways mirror the Phillips experience,” commented Phillips. “Through this association, I’ve met many key leaders that have driven the aftermarket segment of our industry ahead; their ideas get the creative juices flowing, bringing about exciting changes. I’m pleased to again be serving on this board.”
Myers, who is president of Phillips Aftermarket Business, served previously as the vice president of sales for Phillips Industries. “I’m honored to join HDMA’s Heavy Duty Marketing and Sales Forum and expect to gain significantly from my involvement,” said Myers. “I also expect to share with others key lessons learned from the challenge of 2020 and the strong market demands pushing us in 2021. It’s been an unprecedented past 15 months where our collective experiences offer ideas for the future.”
HDMA forums and councils give members the ability to have roundtable discussions with peers in their industry segment, the organization says. Ranked the highest value among HDMA members, forums and councils meet twice a year for discussions and networking and to hear directly from customers.
