A TV news special highlighting the resurgence of the manufacturing base in San Antonio, Texas, featured Pressure Systems International (PSI), manufacturer of an automatic tire inflation system for commercial vehicles marketed in North America as the Meritor Tire Inflation System (MTIS) by PSI. The show featured PSI employees assembling and testing the product and included commentary from company executives explaining the increased market acceptance of its product in the U.S. and around the world.
PSI also exports automatic tire inflation systems from the U.S. to more than 39 countries including China and Australia, and in South America, Europe and Africa. The city’s manufacturing sector benefits from the company’s growing global market share, according to PSI. San Antonio was recently placed seventh on a list published by Forbes Magazine of the top areas leading the resurgence of manufacturing in the United States.
