Prestone Products Corp. is offering a line of new Prestone Command products including SCAs, extenders, test kits and strips. On the company’s list of product line additions are the following:

• Extended Life provides 600,000-mile/12,000-hour CAT EC-1 protection for any diesel-powered heavy-duty engine. The patented formula, according to the company, protects aluminum and all other engine metals against temperature extremes, rust, corrosion, scale, helps prevent water-pump failure and is compatible with any other heavy-duty antifreeze/coolant. A pre-diluted 50/50 formulation is available for top-off applications.
• Extended Service is SCA pre-charged and provides protection against freezing, overheating, cavitation erosion, corrosion, scale and foaming in any heavy-duty engine with need-release filter technology that is used in normal to severe duty cycles and extreme temperature conditions. A pre-diluted 50/50 antifreeze/coolant formulation and demineralized water dilution is available for top-off applications.

All Prestone Command products adhere to guidelines defined by TMC’s Recommended Practices and has been approved by all OEMs and engine manufacturers, the company added.
