Pressure Systems International (PSI) has recognized Wabash National Corp. with its 2011 Customer Excellence Award. The presentation of the award, a hand-crafted replica of a Wabash Trailer, was made by Frank Sonzala, executive vice president for PSI and Steve Robinson, PSI’s director of OEM sales and dealer programs to Dick Giromini, president and COO and Steve Miller, vice president supply chain management for Wabash National.

“Wabash was an important player in helping us exceed our sales goals for 2011,” said Tim Musgrave, president and CEO of PSI. “They offer the Meritor Tire Inflation System by PSI as their preferred automatic tire inflation system spec to their customers, and we appreciate that their recommendation adds significantly to the number of trailers protected by MTIS.”

Wabash National has been offering MTIS by PSI on its trailers since the early 1990s and also now offers the ThermALERT wheel-end heat-sensing technology as an added option.
