Reyco Granning Electric Vehicle Solutions (RGevs) has released a new drive axle air suspension for the commercial electric vehicle market.

The new suspension is part of the WorkMaster product line and variant of the Model 240AR, and was developed specifically to package with e-axles.

The 240AR-EV has a GAWR range of 17,000 to 23,000 lbs., and is suitable for single or tandem drive axle arrangements. Ride heights range from 8.5 in. to 10 in.. The company says it is ideally suited for on-highway truck, tractor, motorhome or bus applications.

Currently, the new transmission is available with select Kenworth Class 8 models, including the T680 and T880 equipped with the PACCAR MX-11 or PACCAR PX-9 engines. Later this year, the transmission will be available in Kenworth Class 6-8 medium duty models, including the T280, T380, and T480 equipped with the PACCAR PX-9 engine.

Class 8 orders strong in February

Even when seasonally adjusted, ACT says preliminary order numbers for February are up 5% over January.
