Rotary Lift adapters designed for precision

Rotary Lift introduced a thread-up adapter accessory kit for its SPO12 two-post surface lift.

The new FJ6200 adapters can be used by themselves on the lift arms or in conjunction with stackable adapters, depending on the height required to properly access pick-up points for the vehicle being raised.

The FJ6200 adapter kit offers 2 3/4 inches of incremental adjustment, providing the technician with a wide range of flexibility when lifting various types of vehicles up to 12,000 lbs., including light trucks, sport utility vehicles, box vans, ambulances and other commercial vehicles, the company said. The adapter is raised or lowered by twisting. This makes possible very fine height adjustments.

“In many applications, technicians need to be able to set the adapters at a specific height in order to avoid interfering with any of the equipment on the vehicle,” says Bob Ford, Rotary product marketing and applications manager. “Technicians can thread this new adapter to precisely the height they need for the vehicle being serviced.”

The SPO12 two-post lift comes standard with four 4-inch stackable adapters and two 8-inch stackable adapters. The optional FJ6200 thread-up adapter can be used with these or the optional 3 1/2-inch or 5-inch stackable adapters. A 2 1/2-inch stackable adapter is also available for the SPO12. The FJ6200 adapter is made of high-strength steel for durability.

The SPO12 two-post lift is a true symmetrical lift for better access to larger vehicles. It is ETL tested and certified by the Automotive Lift Institute to meet or exceed ANSI standards. Like all Rotary two-post lifts, the SPO12 is constructed with Rotary’s patented “Double S” single-piece construction column design to maximize column strength as well as the surface contact area of the self-lubricating slider bearing blocks, the company said.
