Schneider has recently begun offering intermodal services at the BNSF Barstow, California ramp.
This new intermodal ramp service provides shippers in the eastern region of Southern California, Las Vegas and western Arizona with a transportation option to Chicago and northeastern U.S. markets.
Service to and from the Barstow ramp will go directly to Chicago five days per week. Schneider says it offers a five-day transit time that’s cost and service competitive with truckload. The new ramp is located just northeast of San Bernardino, California, about 150 miles from Las Vegas.
