The new High Build Additive, GA6100, from Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes is designed to increase wet film application for the already established Genesis and AIC single stage topcoats, said the company. By adding one to three ounces per ready to spray gallon, the sag point of the topcoat will increase up to double the wet film build (compared to the same coating without the additive).
The High Build Additive is ideal for applications that involve sharp or laser cut edges, because the increased film build provides protection and additional coverage to the edges, said Sherwin-Williams.
The High Build Additive can be ordered through any of the 196 Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes company owned branches that provide sales support and controlled distribution throughout North America.
